And now, Rochelle’s Article:

So when I was asked to write on this subject I had a hundred thought go through my head. so hopefully I can put this into some kind of order .
The biggest difference between the people I know who are real or authentic vs. those who are puffed up on an ego boils down to selfishness.

let me give you an example. I worked at an elite child care center for a number of years. I love children so that is what I chose to do.

The parents of the children for the most part were very well to do. By some I was treated as a servant not valued for my education and knowledge I was not equal to there standards because I was not on the same playing field money wise.

By other parents, still very well to do, I was of value. They saw me as a person, who like them chose a profession they loved. And they were grateful I was there to look after their children while they worked.

I find it interesting that those who are real, authentic have moral value and God is a big part of there lives. while they that are puffed up could only see what they thought they were worth and had no time for God.

They looked for praise  of man. when they did something of worth it was for name recognition. not  just to help.

The real people became my friends and I still get pictures of there families from time to time. While those who were puff up on an ego trip never knew what blessings they missed out on by only seeing them self’s as of worth.

I think we all have times in our lives when we are selfish.  But those who reach out to help others with no thought of what they might get out of it.Those who smile at others who say hello to strangers, who love life and the Lord, those who have charity are the real and authentic people.

They are who I hope to become.
